An international journey through Altiplano cultures

Travel from Puno to Bolivia on a full-day journey focused on the archaeological heritage of the Altiplano. Before crossing the border, visit Chucuito and Inca Uyo as well as the carved rock doorway of Amaru Muru.

After personally completing immigration formalities at Desaguadero, continue with local transportation and guide to Tiwanaku, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit covers areas such as Kalasasaya, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, Gate of the Sun, monoliths, Akapana and Puma Punku, subject to the circuit open that day.

This tour enters Bolivia. Every traveler is responsible for carrying valid documents and meeting the immigration and visa requirements that apply to their nationality. Peruvian citizens may travel for tourism with a valid DNI under Andean Community agreements, but must still complete immigration control and the Andean Migration Card.

What happens if I am denied entry to Bolivia?

The decision belongs exclusively to immigration authorities. Expenses and missed services caused by incomplete documents or denied entry are not covered.

Pésimo servicio. Contratamos un bus con ellos, nunca vinieron a buscarnos al hotel. No nos contestaron a ninguna llamada ni mensaje y por supuesto no nos devolvieron el dinero. Desaconsejo fuertemente esta agencia.

¡La excursión a la Montaña Arcoíris superó todas nuestras expectativas! Todo el viaje estuvo muy bien organizado, con transporte cómodo, un delicioso desayuno y almuerzo, y un guía amable y profesional que hizo que la experiencia fuera placentera de principio a fin. Las vistas durante la caminata fueron increíbles, y llegar a la cima para ver la Montaña Arcoíris valió totalmente la pena. Nuestro guía nos dio tiempo suficiente para disfrutar del paisaje, tomar fotos y aprender sobre la cultura local y los Andes circundantes. Recomiendo ampliamente esta excursión a cualquiera que visite Cusco. Todo estuvo perfectamente organizado y fue, sin duda, uno de los mejores momentos de nuestro viaje a Perú. ¡Gracias por esta aventura inolvidable!
