Colca Canyon on foot in a compact adventure

Complete the classic trekking route through Colca Canyon in two days. After visiting Condor Cross, descend from Cabanaconde to San Juan de Chuccho and continue through Cosñirhua and Malata before reaching the Sangalle oasis.

The second day begins before sunrise with a continuous climb back to Cabanaconde. This fast-paced program involves major elevation changes and limited recovery time, making it suitable for active travelers with good fitness.

This version concentrates the descent and most of the route inside the canyon into the first day. Accommodation in Sangalle is basic and may have limited electricity, hot water subject to availability and unreliable mobile signal. Every participant carries their backpack during the trek.

Not always. Accommodation in Sangalle is basic, and room or bathroom type depends on confirmed availability.

Is the Colca Tourist Ticket included?

No. AUTOCOLCA manages the ticket and it is normally paid separately unless your booking expressly states otherwise.

The Rainbow Mountain tour exceeded all of our expectations! The entire trip was well organized, with comfortable transportation, a delicious breakfast and lunch, and a friendly, professional guide who made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The views along the hike were incredible, and reaching the top to see Rainbow Mountain was absolutely worth it. Our guide gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and learn about the local culture and the surrounding Andes. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cusco. Everything was handled perfectly, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Thank you for such an unforgettable adventure!

Terrible service. We booked a bus with them, but they never came to pick us up at the hotel. They didn't answer any of our calls or messages, and of course, they didn't refund our money. I strongly advise against using this agency.
